Wanderlust is the third installment of Daisy’s ‘Modern Love Story’ series – so far trilogy. Although it is the third book, I really enjoyed how it can be read as a stand alone too. This is my first Daisy Prescott book and I love her style of writing, it is so fresh and captivating. She not only tells a story but is so detailed about all the beautiful places the characters go to, it makes you feel like you’re in these wonderful locations too. Hats off to Daisy for doing her research!

Selah is a strong, confident, independent, career driven, in charge of her sexuality, take no garbage but also enjoys her fun forty-something-year-old woman. Selah is on a sabbatical for several months in Ghana but stops over in Amsterdam for a week. With a lacking love life, she got herself a BOB, with a possible fling in mind. That was until a tall, blue-eyed not her type Dutch businessman walks into her life and share an instant connection.

A week later Selah is in Ghana for work, study, and pleasure. Taken in as family by the owner of the hotel, she quickly becomes friends with an exciting group of people who all start to look out for each other, they become their own tribe so to speak. Some more time goes by and along comes Kai. What a curve ball that was! I’m not going to spoil it because the shock of it all felt so real, it was like Daisy had written you in the scene and it was all unfolding before your very eyes. I was excited, nervous and then my heart stopped. It seriously stopped, I was floored. I looked like a cartoon character having to lift my jaw off the floor with my eyes popping out if my head, it’s an experience that needs to be felt first hand. After this, the rest just falls into place. Secrets revealed, monkey sex embraced and bonds strengthened.

I encourage you to read this as a series or a stand alone because they are just an absolute delight. I will definitely be reading more by Daisy Prescott and can’t wait to see what else she brings out!
